I think its great that you have reported this issue to the non-emergency number. I myself have called the non-emergency number and reported the issues upwards of 15 time over the past five months. Unfortunately, the violations continue to go on and I have seen very little measurable progress.

I have had both police officers and non-emergency staff tell me "Well we cant do anything about the issue," " We really are not the place to report this issue" or flat out incorrectly state that the business is "not violating the law."

There seems to be a great deal of confusion around what the law states and who is responsible for enforcing it. Thus I thought it couldn't hurt to post the issue here, in an effort to generate more visibility and traction.

It looks like the dB readings were taken down around 824x White Star, a little removed from the loading dock. If the county wants to conduct an additional noise study I would be more than willing to have them at our home a little further down white star. 826x-827x.

This issue is still ongoing. I reported to the AA Co. Police non emergency number over the weekend to no avail.

Constituent Services - James R. your reassigning of this issue has fallen on deaf ears, please follow up with you assignee to ensure that they resolve this issue in a timely manner. Based on the attachments provided by Mr. Ghaemi the recorded sounds exceed the daytime limits* despite being taken during the 2200 hour with full summer foliage. The trees have now shed their sound dampening leaves and the problem has become more pronounced.

Readings include: 72.9 @ 22:24, 70.1 @ 22:25, 72.7 @ 22:27, and 79.6 @ 22:28 all exceeding the daytime limits

I would like to request a formal update on this from county personnel. It has been almost four (4) months since the issue was turned over to Corporal Beaujon and there has been neither progress nor update on the issue. Swift resolution would be appreciated but just knowing that Corporal Beaujon actually exists would be a step in the right direction.

I would also like to request an update. There has been no movement from corporal Beaujon, nor a follow-up response from any constituents. Seems a bit wrong to be blatantly ignoring tax paying voters who have voiced concerns over the violations of county law.

These issues have been allowed to continue without resolve and are a detriment to our mental health. Complaints have continued to be launched to the police, however, the issues persist. Any warning to BJ's has been ignored. Heck! One of our neighbors even recorded a video of a company using a gas powered backpack leaf blower (75-100 DB) to clear out debris from BJ's losing dock IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!

Please! Respond with something, anything! To let assure is that this issue is begging looked into.

Per BJs corporate office, the installation on the sound barriers is scheduled for 1/29-1/31.

I am requesting that this issue remain open until the installation of the "sound barriers" (sound blanketing on the compressor) has proven successful. The issue that Mr. Ghaemi is reporting is also related to the incessant banging that BJ's partakes in at all hours of the night. Until you have forced them to comply with county code and state law I request that you not ignore the complaint.

I second the above. The sound blankets are anticipated to only improve one aspect of the noise. This is a multi-faceted issue.

I also second this request. Again the noise blankets are a GREAT step as the constant humming from the refrigeration condensers is above the legal limit and very intrusive. I for one am extremely thankful BJ's is taking a proactive step to help reduce this noise. This was great progress and I think will improve the overall community. Thank you BJ's.

However, the sound blankets do nothing to address the absolutely intrusive nature of the loading and unloading of trucks, frequent horn blowing, dumpster emptying and truck idling that occurs between 10:00PM and 6:00AM.

In fact it really irritates me that someone would close this issue citing the sound blanket instillation. The initial complaint does not even mention the condenser noise. This borders on blatant disregard of the original complaint.

Let me be perfectly clear. We have two main issues.

Issue 1: Delivery, Forklift, Truck Loading & Unloading, Dumpster Emptying, Horn Blowing, Trailer Banging... sounds, noises and literal earth and home shaking vibrations that occur between 10:00PM and 6:00AM.
Issue 1 Status: issues on going, no resolution.

Issue 2: Refrigeration condenser noise.
Issue 2: Status: Solutions in progress, blankets due for installation 1/29 - 1/31

I hope you dorks never find a resolution. You didn’t do your homework and now you’re paying the price.

This issue is still on giong. Has the county taken any actions regarding BJ's failure to abide by the ordinance? Has a citation been issued?
