Description

It is raining again, and this time the flood is deep. This is now the 4th time in a span of 1 1/2 months. Nothing has and is being done about it. The flood water is now reaching the hood of the cars on the street. My neighbors have told me that this has been happening, and yet nothing has been done. How are we supposed to go to work/ commute or even step out of out houses if this happens? Not even a temporary measure has been done. No improvements or constructions. It will rain again tomorrow, and again, it will flood because nothing is being done about this. NOTHING! And I don't understand why the city just lets this happen. It is mind boggling and infuriating. Do something! PLEASE!

This is atrocious and there’s no good reason why residents shouldn’t be able to drive or leave their house because of the city’s neglect to address this problem. Hope you get some progress soon!

Please be advised that the JCMUA will be replacing the Sip Avenue Sewer next year which will eliminate some of the flooding however when rainstorms occur such as yesterday the sewers become overwhelmed and flooding will occur.

Ah, so next year. So we'll have to suffer a few more floods then. So we'll have to suffer not having gas and hot water because of the flood. It does not matter if the rain was like yesterday or not. It floods, period. Action should have been done. Improvements should have been done. Since it will rain again tonight, then we'll expect flooding and probably won't be able to go to work tomorrow. That's great!

This is ridiculous. Sorry, but you have to live with the flooding for another year?! If I lived there, I would make a huge stink about it. Contact the mayor, maybe local news channels. This just isn’t right. Be sure to keep track of any damage the flooding has caused to your property. This is completely unacceptable.

Please note the water is not clean it is disgusting any normal person will realize it leaves a horrible odor after the flood. The taxes are ridiculous its jot fair we have to clean up for hours post rain. The response from jcmua clearly indicates it is not of priority. The residents are speaking up someone needs to respond with a reasonable outcome!

Yes. Absolutely. It's the same excuse over and over. Next year, next year. It's very tiring. It's going to rain again tonight until tomorrow morning. I'm sure it will flood again because nothing has been done. And that will be the 5th flood in a span of a month and a half. Imagine that. I don't know how I'm going to get to work. Ridiculous.
