Chelsea police was notified this morning and they said there isn't much they could do to enforce it they suggested for us to call each time to just ask if they have requested a police detail.

In other words, don't bother us with this.

Come on now City Hall and CPD on this one, let’s get this one fixed today. Someone is issuing permits to this place at city hall and someone in CPD is not engaging well with the community and enforcing laws. Get out there and end this. this one should be an easy slam dunk today.

Impossible for first responders to get down this street in an emergency! Negligence is on the board! A very libelous situation for the city to be in!!

Please provide the proper procedure for the Greenhouse residents to get "The Ride" and other vehicles to keep doctor appointments. I am also concerned that with out a police detail to notify medical vehicles to go down the one way street to pick up residents, medical appointments will be missed and Greenhouse residents will be unable to get proper medical care. Also what about if there is an emergency and the fire department has to go to the rear of the property to assist they will not be properly notified. Please advise what Greenhouse should do to rectify this serious, dangerous issue to our residents. Thank you Helen Zucco

I am sure that we will get a comment soon on this from the City. Does the construction company have a permit to shut down a street? Does construction company have a permit to shut a street down during rush hour? Are they allowed to shut a street down without a police detail? I think our City Manager needs to get with his people to figure out the permits and then get with CPD to figure out community engagement procedures and enforcement of traffic laws based on the permits.

The police department is aware. We have been sending a supervisor to speak with them during the day. We will continue to monitor the situation.
