Description
Two of 4 lanes of Bloor Street West between Parkside Dr and Ellis Park Ave were closed to traffic (at least) yesterday and today (Monday) by dozens of large pylons and barricades belonging to "D. Martino Construction". No work is proceeding, no holes or other evidence of work, just endless traffic struggling thru remaining lanes. I am fed up with the regular practice of construction firms leaving their equipment and other obstructions in the way over weekends and holidays - and now on a Monday through both rush hours!. Creates inconvenience, pollution, excess gas consumption, and possible danger from delays of emergency vehicles. D. Martino needs to clean this up and the City needs to pass and enforce by-laws prohibiting this practice.

Who is "Matt" ? What is your connection to the project? Do you have authority to fix the problem? If not, why do you have my email (which I thought was being submitted to the Star's Fixer) and why are we having this conversation?
