Description
There is a small dead deer near the fence on the southwest corner of the Cross Creek neighborhood. There are several large coyotes eating on the carcass. Several residents have seen up to four large coyotes wandering in the neighborhood along the walking trail nearby this afternoon. One resident reported that the coyotes keep dragging the carcass from one side of the fence to the other in the area near the ditch and fence on the right before you enter Cross Creek from Balch Road. I don't know how much of the dead deer will be left by the time you can get someone to check on it. We are concerned that the deer is attracting more coyotes into the neighborhood. As secretary of the HOA, I have notified everyone to be cautious, especially with their pets. Thank you.
