This is my routine reminder to the DPW every few months when the sun goes down earlier and the time changes. 7:00pm last night the Veterans park is dark. This is a safety issue. I cannot walk in the park with my dog alone when it’s dark. The police are not around, never in the park, allowing criminal activities in the park. The lighting helps prevent some of this behaviour. I wish I did not have to ask for the lighting to change. It is the city responsibility to keep on top of the job. Change the time on the lighting ASAP, hopefully, I will not wait 1 month for this change.
