Description

I am writing about traffic on Lakeshore Blvd. going east turning left onto Lower Sherbourne St. (to go north) underneath the Gardiner Expressway. There is a left turn signal (arrow) but because Lakeshore is so wide, drivers get part way through the intersection, see the red light intended for straight-through traffic on Sherbourne, and come to a stop. Happens frequently. I don't know if there's been accidents because of this but it seems dangerous to have confused drivers stuck in the middle of a busy intersection, unsure if they should go or not. The left turn signals need to be improved so drivers know they are supposed to proceed all the way through the intersection.
