This is clearly a mental health and welfare issue, and the COV has a duty to get this man off the street and into a permanent hospital setting.
Everything about this mans behavior is a red flag for severe mental illness.

Yes, as a matter of fact I do. I would expect any Vallejo Police Officer on duty patrolling the area to pull right up and arrest him for trespassing/ camping in a no camping zone and cite him for littering.
I know this likely won’t happen at least in a timely manner, but you better believe that’s what I expect.
In any other city with common decency, that’s what would happen. Anyone wonder why this stuff goes rampant in Vallejo, San Francisco and Oakland, but not in Napa, Marin, Vacaville, Benicia, etc.

This person us a danger to himself and the community! Please remove him and assist him with services. His urine and defecation are in the sidewalk and street! The trash is littered all over the area. He is bringing blight to the area and encouraging other buns to join him. Please remove him from our community! The tax payers have rights!!!

Thank you, but we need to keep an eye on this bus stop and if he returns open a new request to expedite his removal.
I believe there is a pending restraining order on him to ban him from this area, hopefully it goes through.

He was out there last night around 6:30 panhandling in the medium with a sign at the intersection

Obviously we need to reopen this then.

We went by this bus stop three times today to make sure he had not returned. Currently he is near Tennessee and Amador, so this issue is closed.
