Correct, Larry, and thank you. Haven't got adequate signage at the Dunks/Citgo despite my post being up for over 300 days now when people driving out of Dunks/Citgo take the illegal left and come head to head with cars coming out of Foster St. Can we make our own signs? Randall/114 looks bad, too.

While a stop sign should be there, it undoubtedly won't have any effect on the current behavior. Perhaps something along the lines of a raised crosswalk? Beyond this, there is the bigger issue of traffic using and speeding down Buffum St (and consequently Randall) as a cut-through. Would love to see the speed limit reduced (and enforced).

Larry is correct about monitoring of these issues. I have been saying the same for over a year. Many issues get assigned instantly. That is a computer generated response. Does anybody really think the taxpayers should drive themselves crazy reporting issue to the city? City officials all get paid by the taxpayers to do jobs. This way of running a city is a joke. However I will gladly drive around Salem and make a list of serious road defects in exchange for a tax credit. I pay you, so if I do your job, you should pay me.

Re Traffic, we need to have another Traffic Meeting. I've been advised that scheduling that is up to our Ward 6 Councillor Beth Gerard. Traffic calming options were discussed at the last meeting. I and some others have asked it be scheduled. Construction will add more traffic.
Beth helped my street get several speed limit signs. (People speed anyway, but maybe it makes some drive slower.) Beth is your councillor, you can contact her for help, as well.
