Description
The speeding on Potter Road has been terrible since we moved here and probably long before that. At the intersection of Joyce Road and Potter Road there is a crosswalk that almost everyone flies by and at this point cars are also extremely close to Potter Road School, yet many literally drive like they are on the highway. There have also been many car accidents at night near Potter and Joyce. Many neighbors say they have already reported this issue multiple times but these reports have yet to result in any changes. Before there is a fatality, could we please put in speed bumps (similar to the ones on the street as one approaches Hanson Farm)?

A. Speeding is a major problem on Potter Road, especially where it intersects with Joyce Road. There is a crosswalk but almost no one stops.

Could we please get a status update on the speeding study? Between our request and the one from the Superintendent it seems results would be available now?
Also, I have called about the broken link for the form that needs to be completed to request speed bumps but have not gotten a return call. Could you please provide a link that works to access that form?
Thank you

Since 2015 The Police Department has conducted three Stealth Surveys on Potter Road. The posted speed limit on potter road is 30 MPH. The Surveys indicated that the Average speed on Potter road was the following:
2015 Stealth Survey = 36.28
2017 Stealth Survey = 34.03
2018 Stealth Survey = 30.09
Based on the information from the Stealth Survey speed bumps, would not be warranted.

Thank you for the speed survey information.
I would still like the form as living there I know that is not the speed limit observed much of the time. (Notably the 3 accidents in front of my house at night in past year or so.)
Could you kindly provide a working link to the form mentioned?
Thank you
