The Project Manager of this project has reviewed the issue. The area in question is dry within 24 hours of the end of a rain event. There are two (2) areas on 30th near 12th Street and 28th Street that will be corrected. Thank you for reporting this issue.

That is so UNTRUE! Why do we have to have flooding cause of a poor asphalt laid job??? Lived here 20years and never had standing water ever in this spot. Also why have they not concreted the HUGE GAPS in curbs??? All our foundation dirt is just pouring out from our property. I was told that was being done but nobody ever came back. I want them to put AsPHalt to raise this area. They all should be fired for making us MOW unlevel ground and hurting our ankels. HOWEVER- I know this water sits longer then 24 hours & it does not matter how hard of a rain. Look at the sand piles that accumulate in that flood area. It is wrong for us not to be able to put trash can at curb because of Standing water. I insist that this area between the alley & 11th st N south side of 30th ave N road BE Raised. Please! If I have to sit outside for 24hours I will to prove the above answer is wrong. So please add asphalt to fix this area.

ReOpened until repair is made. Their are too many of us on 30th Ave N so unhappy about the new standing water issues that we never had before & the amount of people on the Neighboor hood watch are angry. So please RAISE the asphalt and fix this we are aware it will be a patch job but I would rather have that then not to be able to wheel a wheelchair next to our property because of the standing water. This is a handicap issue.

Yeah... I opened a ticket for this over a month ago and I was told it would be complete a week later. This project manager is terrible at his job if he thinks the water drains after a day. LOL

It hasn't rained since Wednesday morning and water hasn't moved (and this is just a recent example).

I'm so tired of trying to time my walks because people drive by and splash water.

AND this is happening all the way to light by fresh market. There isn't just "two locations."

This tool is useless if all they are going to do is acknowledge and close it after it is looked at. Running into the same issue with Paving closing requests without fixing potholes. What gives? Time to contact the Mayor's office directly or 8 on Your Side. Why have this SeeClickFix if the issues are just ignored. City is allowing sloppy work by contractors and staff.

At this point I have now proven to project manager on how long the water sits at these low asphalt areas. PLEASE FIX MINE ASAP.

Keep this alive folks. The number and size of puddles of standing water on this road is not acceptable.

Corrections to several areas holding water along the curb line of 30th Avenue North are scheduled in the next thirty (30) days. Thank you for your patience and understanding in our efforts to correct this issue. Engineering & Capital Improvements Department

Thank you Engineering we are looking forward to having these areas corrected by Mid NOV. Not sure what went wrong on this project but I speak for many folks we are waiting patiently to see workers again on the road to resolve asphalt and water flow.

The asphalt in this area has been reworked. A meeting is scheduled with the contractor to discuss options. Thank you for reporting this issue.

This problem is very much unresolved. I drive 30th Avenue between 16th and 9th Street a few times everyday. I am also a cyclist. No matter what the contractor or someone sitting in a downtown office may tell the engineering department. The facts remain that we have a newly repaved road and ponding water is worse than it ever was before repaving. Now we have whiter bike lanes yet they are commonly blocked with standing water causing bicyclist to veer into the unsafe path of a moving vehicle or traffic.

Why is the city reluctant to have the contractor properly complete the work we taxpayers are paying for?

Lets see what happens after the next rain. They just took out and reworked a path of asphalt in the problem area 11-20-18, even though not appealing. only way to know is after the next rain which should occur sometime after Thanksgiving.
