Please allow the building department to respond in time. Also, bear in mind that the City of Marlborough is somewhat limited in its its authority and cannot dictate what people can and can't have on their property because it isn't aesthetically pleasing to neighbors. Municipal agencies can really only enforce violations of city ordinances or state laws. We always encourage neighbors to speak with one another and work issues out together and not rely on the city fight their personal differences. Also, we will not be tolerating negativity or disparaging comments in this forum. Users who continue to create issues or post negative comments will be warned and/or barred from using this site.
