This Is the hole in the wall where you can see in all the way to the 2nd floor. This building needs to be condemned and the property fenced as it is widely used as a hang out place and a dumping ground

Just so you are aware it has been noticed by several neighbors that it appears that a homeless person has been staying in the basement of the part of the school that this hole is. Calling the police has proven fruitless due to the length of time it takes to respond the neighbors have bee diligent in trying to chase anyone away. There is a basement window that the board has been removed.

Thank you. But again my neighbors and I want the city to be aware that some way, some how someone is getting into and possibly living in the school as multiple people have seen a light shining on the second floor on the Sheffield St side toward the back as recently as the night before last.

We have notified the NBPD of the squatter issue. We are continuously boarding up the building and making sure it is secure weekly so no one should be able to enter. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.

Just an update incase no one has noticed it but there is a large section of the outer wall facing Sheffield st that is pulling a
away from the building itself. If this section falls as one piece it could easily clear the sidewalk.

Pretty certain everyone is aware of the raccoons that reside in the building but there are also RATS not only living in the school, but also coming out to the surrounding area. Considering that not only is there a city bus stop right there but there are 2 school bus stops there as well and considering the diseases that rats and raccoons carry that this building is a health hazard to everyone in the area.

I do not believe that as long as the hole in the wall exists that this should NOT be a closed issue. In the last week someone removed the boards from the basement window just below the collapsed wall. Also there is still a homeless person living in the buildings.

There are even more boards that have been removed as there is a group of people that have been going in and out of the building DAILY!
They go in with nothing and come out with a full back pack. It has become increasingly obvious that it has become a drug drop and pick up spot because everyone knows it takes hours before an officer will come when a neighbor calls

We again are constantly boarding up the building. The NBPD has been aware of the on-going in and outs and have increased patrol to that area. We will do our best to keep the building secure. Thank you for your concerns.

A homeless man comes in and out of both buildings on a daily basis, It has been reported but the buildings are Not secure from people getting in them.

I do not understand how you can close this when the entire second floor, and part of the first floor has completely collapsed, and if it were not for 1 floor joist getting wedged the windows above the hole would fall out as well. A Structural Engineer should come out and examine the entire set of buildings before you make an attempt to close this out again. Until then every time you close this out either myself or one of my neighbor's will reopen the case again.

We have installed a fence in the front area where the building is collapsing as well as an 8' fence now in the back of the property where the building is also collapsing. The City has been working hard for many years in trying to get this building sold and/or to get the funds to demolish the property. The City has spent many resources in keeping it boarded up and secured as much as possible and will continue all of these efforts. Thanks for responding. No one is more aware of the amount of time that has gone into coming to the school to reboard it up after it has been broken into then Myself and my neighbors and we appreciate the city workers efforts. Clearly you understand the situation and are doing your job as instructed in this matter. I just want to leave this one last reminder that has not gone unnoticed by the neighborhood residents. It is widely known that There is Asbestos in the building and since air can get in to the building through its many hole that means asbestos can and does get out and into the air.

Someone cut a hole in the fence that the city put up to keep people out of the school and away from the collapsing section of wall and there has been more dumping at the school lately,
