According to CSS the registration is current but the tags have been “stolen”.
So get used to seeing it unless someone gets photo evidence of illegal dumping in progress. They are trying but are stymied by “due process” and lack of resources.

This vehicle needs to be impounded and crushed.
No more paying of having “homeless advocates” help get it out.
This is a public nuisance and health risk.
We demand a permanent solution, not a repeat over and over.

This vehicle has been ticketed and tagged again. The laws do not allow us to impound it or crush it. It is operable, registered and insured. Currently the only violation is parking an oversize vehicle on a City street which they are cited for on a regular basis.
We will continue to enforce as we are able to.

Under that request you will see that this white “bus” parked overnight and dumped garbage and other junk all over the sidewalk.
This vehicle is a PUBLIC NUISANCE and needs to go along with the bums living in it trashing our city.

Thank you for using SeeClickFix. VPD's Traffic Division is responsible for handling all abandoned vehicle reports on streets and public property and they do not monitor this forum.
The following are approved by the Traffic Division for filing Abandoned Vehicles on Public Property. In order to streamline the process, please choose ONE option to make your report.
- Call (707) 648-4682
- Email trafficmobile@cityofvallejo.net
- Use the online reporting tool accessible via the Police Online Services webpage here: http://www.cityofvallejo.net/city_hall/departments___divisions/police/police_online_services/
Please be prepared to provide the following information:
- Vehicle make
- Vehicle color
- License plate number
- Location of the vehicle
- Info about why the vehicle appears abandoned
Currently, there is a backlog of reports on the abandoned vehicle list, and providing detailed information to ONE of the approved reporting tools will help the Traffic Division more efficiently investigate reports given their reduced resources.
Please direct all questions and concerns to the Traffic Division at (707) 648-4329. More information about the division is on their webpage here: http://www.cityofvallejo.net/city_hall/departments___divisions/police/our_units/traffic. Thanks again for using SeeClickFix.

There is something about Vallejo that keeps them here
If it’s registration is current.... But the tags are stolen what do you do about stolen property??
Or is this information incorrect?
If any police officers see a pile of debris curbside next to this rolling blight I would hope they take the time to ticket the owners
Again there’s something about Vallejo that welcomes and keeps issues-problems like this within our city limits indefinitely
Figure out what the reasons are and abate them
