Good luck on getting this problem solved! The problem is occurring all over Vallejo and they cant keep up with it! The city hall has a blind eye to this problem that has gotten out of control in my opinion and could care less! I have been reporting numerous sights for months and nothing is being done about it. This town is totally out of control with vagrants, homeless , garbage , filth, lawbreakers, trespassers, loiterers and everything else that goes along with their lifestyles! Its amazing how you can drive any direction OUT of Vallejo and the scenery changes instantly! No garbage no visible homeless camps, loiterers, beggars, trash. These citys dont allow it or have it in check to a certain degree.

William I totally agree with you, I'm so tired of it. Maybe we should all send emails to our Mayor and council members about this out of control issue. Should be put on the City agenda for next council meeting.

How about asking the council candidates what they intend to do about the homeless situation in Vallejo. I would be very interested in their responses.

Typical politician will tell you what you want to here and do nothing once elected! Vallejo is no different than any other town, city, state or fed government! Carol, i have sent at least 3 emails with pictures to the city manager and received not one response! The city of Vallejos click fix should be part of their agenda at each and every city council meeting! What gets me is that the city council lives here and cant possibly not see what is going on. Why are these violations of our city laws not being addressed? Total ineptness on the part of our city leaders and it shows! Im so disgusted with the response from the city and their do nothing attitude while the homeless population grows, the garbage is compounding and nothing is being done to curb it!!!!!!!!!!

William has sent emails, I have too, multiple emails, no response. I walked into the City Managers Office to follow up, and not much happening there either. It’s not on the priority list for them. You know, “short on resources” & stymied by “due process”. We have along way to go with the City Management & Mayor. Keep posting here to have a record and
keep up the pressure. Someday it might get some real attention.

Short on resources but they can buy property for a homeless shelter they can buy property to expand the corporation yard, they can spend our hard earned tax dollars on a pipeline across the napa river, they pay the people at the cov administration in the high six figures, do i need to go on? Due process? The laws are on the books to be obeyed, not over looked! Vagrancy, loitering, illegal camping, littering, trespassing and so on. What part of these laws doesnt the COV understand? By not enforcing them, they are just as guilty as the people who are committing these crimes! All these laws and we have a mayor who is an ex policeman!
