was reported over a year ago and nothing has been done. If the alder can't get the attention of city officials, what chance do the rest of us have ?

Alderman Winter,
You are very correct. The fact that it wasn't originally reported by an alderperson should not make any difference at all; however, we all know that issues reported by alderpersons have much more influence than issues reported by residents who are not alderpersons.
If need be, I can produce a detailed comparative report of issues reported by alderpersons vs. issues reported by residents who are not alderpersons, including the amount of time it took to resolve each issue respectively. I could even include all of the issues reported by the employees of our city in a separate category.
Running metrics reports are easy. I've done it for years.
I hope you don't take this the wrong way. I'm definitely on your side. It is truly awesome to see alderpersons actively engaging on this platform.
I'm also aware of which alderpersons neither use this platform nor reply to emails sent to them on the newhavenct.gov domain.
If you ever need administrative assistance showing the public what you have done for New Haven, please let me know.
Cheers,
Tommy

@steve21,
Running metrics reports is a rudimentary task. It involves nothing more than exporting data to the appropriate files and then making it look pretty. All of the work I've done for the past few years has been for free, but I'm finished doing that. If you would like me to produce SeeClickFix metrics reports, we would first need to discuss remuneration.
As an alternative, you could simply ask Zane Selvans to perform the task for you. After all, his career revolves around data analysis.
@archcmt,
Yes, I can find any issue that has ever been reported on the SeeClicFix platform, including manhole cover problems. There have been many issues reported involving manhole cover problems. Do you know the approximate location of the manhole cover? Also, do you know what year the issue was reported? If so, do you also know what month it was reported? Answers to these questions will help me find the data more quickly.
If you don't have the answers to these questions, I could supply you with a report of every manhole cover issue ever reported on this platform; however I would rather not perform that task without first discussing remuneration.
