People, this is a small neighborhood. If you have a issue go talk to the person. This constant sending complaints to the city is petty and childish. We are all adults. Knock on a door. You do not know what someone has going on in their life that might have them unable to do something. Take 5 minutes out of your day to go see them and ask if you can help. We are a community.
people shouldn't have to be reminded to take care of their lawn. we all have things going on in our lives and yet find time to take care of our homes and lawns. some of these yards have been neglected for months.
Wow, so if your parents were just killed in a car accident what do you do? Travel to Texas at a moments notice or say you need to mow your lawn first ? Get real!
The point I am trying to make is that there are a lot of crappy looking lawns in our neighborhood. They don't get that way in a week or 2. It takes a long time to let weeds and grass get to a point where someone has finally had it and reports to the city. there are a lot of new construction homes sitting vacant and the home builders do not seem to care what the yard looks like. The new house next to mine was built in this last winter, yard was hyrdoseeded in the spring and was mowed 1 (ONE) time this summer. It"s no wonder it is still sitting empty.
