This reply really has me scratching my head. First of all, nothing has changed at this property in weeks so I'm very confused about how the issue has been "corrected to meet code regulations" since I reported it _2+ months ago._ Second, I'm confused about what that code may be if it's not the following:
"City Code can require owner to cut grass and weeds on property when it gets to a height of 12 inches. Bushes, shrubs, hedges and other similar vegetation shall not project into the street, alley or sidewalk. Each owner is responsible for his or her property to the center of any alley that adjoins it."
The property is not even close to adhering to the 12-inch rule. It is completely overgrown and untended. In fact, here's a picture from yesterday. Supposedly it was "corrected" before this photo was taken. Did someone really even look at this property? It's hard to believe that's the case. This is owned by the city. If this has to go to DPW, let's do that. I don't care which department fixes it, but it's an eyesore for the neighborhood.
