Description

Behind the City of topeka public works water division pump station on 10th and Wannamaker there is a large overgrowth of trees, and limbs that are being used to create a place where teenagers and homeless frequent to do drugs and drink. This is creating an unsafe environment for our hotel guests and neighbors, and creating a large amount of trash. This area needs to be cleared, and the downed tree limbs that are being used to hide it need to be removed. we have had an office broken into from someone coming from this area, and several people have complained about not feeling safe because of the people this attracts. I have spoken with neighbors that live in the town homes behind this area and they say they find stolen clothing and other objects in their yards frequently.
