I believe the large green trash cans are either issued to a Business or Resident. Where as this person keeps coming up with a City Owned Green Can that should be retrieved asap for better use.

Always acknowledged and the problem continues in the neighborhood. Investigating solves nothing so far. This person needs to be out of the neighborhood if the problem can't be fixed. It is supposed to be illegal to dumping, possesing stolen property, homeless encampments, creating blight etc. and probably involved in drugs by the people he associates with. Telling the person they have to move along solves what when they are still a neighborhood problem.

Seems like being acknowledged doesn't solve the problem. We need more results not excuses. You would think it would be simple to remove his trash when he isn't around or if he refuses to remove it. Also be cited or at least a written formal warning with something more severe the second time. Why is this trash ignored and the menace allowed to continue? I would be glad to do it if I didn't have the worry of being attacked and my property burned down from this sometimes violent person. This is too blatant and the response too pathetic

How do we solve this problem when the city doesn't do enough? You would think it would be real simple to remove his trash from city owned property and our parks as needed which is probably daily. He needs discouragement and to be cited fore the numerous violations.

Any suggestions on who might listen to Our Complaints over this one person who is a constant problem ? Cause we are not getting results just more trash. So unfair to us neighbors and those driving by Mare Island to have to view this mess.

It's interesting to note that only one of the candidates for Vallejo City Council ( Hakeem Brown) even mentions homelessness in their statement in the voter information guide. The other three statements, by incumbents, make no mention of the homeless issue that is ruining Vallejo.

Why must we tolerate this bums behavior ? could it be that city officials don't live in this area...This Bum is messing up our city and no one seems to care about addressing him for removal. He alone is making our water front area look very poor..

Don’t blame council or the police, their hands are tired. Every time they try to do something a group comes out of the wood works to yell at them for harassing the homeless.

Enforcing our laws isn't harassing. These aren't homeless to feel sorry for, they are vagrants and bums who trash our town etc.. The homeless to feel sorry for are the law abiders that want help and structure and aren't perpetual homeless. The bill boards should say these groups are the biggest problem that create blight and homeless dysfunction. Let the homeless live with these advocates. If they are so much about the homeless they should better manage them instead of supporting breaking laws. I will always blame the council and police etc. when our laws etc. aren't enforced. I will also blame the advocates and the perpetual bums and vagrants creating blight
