I live on the corner of Louisiana @ Stuart and have personally seen or heard a dozen or so accidents from my 3rd floor window in the last couple of years.

Q. Why is this a concern?
A. Drivers exit the highway here and often are traveling 50+ mph down Louisiana Street, which is a 30 mph zone. There are several small side streets and lots of cars parked along the street which causes a lot of accidents. I think there should be some kind of bump strips on the roads that give people a physical warning to slow down.
