Description

With the street calming measures added to 17th Street SE, traffic is now racing up East Capitol Street SE and using 16th Street SE as an alternative. The result is a number of accidents at the intersection of 16th and East Capitol including this past Thursday. This intersection is one of the few on East Capitol west of the river without a stop sign or traffic signal. Please add traffic calming measures to this intersection. There is a school a block up the street and a lot of kids walking to school. Thanks!
