Call or visit your council person, voice your concerns.

Take down car information which includes type, model, color and plate ID. Take notes of persons on the property. Nicknames, special features such as scars, hair styles, race,approximate ages etc. give this information to the police each time you call.

Please follow up on this request from last month. Every word written about this request is accurate. Illicit behavior at this location seems to have died down (for now), but the maintenance of the property is non-existent. The bush blocks the entire sidewalk and is encroaching on other properties. Other parts of the property are unkempt and ignored, suggesting it is indeed abandoned. Overall, it is an eyesore on an otherwise well-maintained block and should be addressed.

Six weeks later from the date of this original request and this monstrosity still blocks the sidewalk and makes the rest of the block look bad. The City is pretty great at collecting personal property taxes for the homes on this street, not so great when it comes to following up on the legitimate concerns of the home-owning citizens it taxes. What is actually being done to fix this problem? When will we see results?

Nine weeks later and no action taken. The bush is bigger and the weeds in the yard are taller. Again, what is actually being done to fix this problem? When will we see results?

This citizen appears to have a legitimate complaint. Why hasn't the city addressed this properly? I wouldn't want to live next door to this.

I actually didn't start this ticket request, but I'm happy to become its sponsor. The city clearly doesn't think this eyesore is a problem - to the point that it closed the ticket without doing anything. The home is clearly abandoned. I guess as long as the powers-that-be don't have to wake up or come home to this blighted property, who cares, right?

Someone cut the grass over the weekend (perhaps the absentee owner?), but the giant bush/tree that blocks the sidewalk remains.

We have assigned another Code Enforcement office to visit the property names above. Unless the bush impedes on the public walkway, we cannot by law cut it down.

If this isn't "impeding on the public walkway," then I may need to reread the dictionary definition of "impede." Keep up the great work guys, I'll look elsewhere to get this problem fixed. It clearly doesn't seem to bother you enough to act on it. The attached picture was taken roughly an hour ago.
