It's not just trash-garbage litter, it's also used condoms from prostitution and drug refuse. Sickening that New Haven's kids have to see these things at the PLAYGROUND! I don't have kids, and I have to wonder how I would explain such objects to a child. "Mommy, why are there needles on the playground? Ooooh, Mommy, look, a balloon!" NO, DON'T TOUCH THAT "BALLOON," YOU COULD BE INFECTED WITH AIDS OR ALL MANNER OF STDS. People are sick and selfish and turning New Haven into crap. No self respect or concern for others.

Park staff work M-F, on weekends users must use the barrels provided

People do need to put trash in the barrels but you need more barrels for the weekend and you need them on Edgewood and Chapel Sts.
