Description

The entire blocks of 4th St between E and G Sts and then E Street between 3rd and 4th are often completely parked up with cars using handicapped placards. Sometimes it will be more than 10 cars in a row on a block. None of these people have a handicapped license plate (NONE!) - which makes me think that at least some of them are using someone else's placard to have free parking instead of paying the monthly parking fee at NASA - where most of them presumibly work based on location. There should be a sweep one day as work gets out - and parking enforcement should ask to see the identification card that one is required to carry at all times when using a handicapped placard. I think DC could make quite a bundle as I'm sure some of these people wouldn't be able to produce the required ID. 4th and E St,SW,Washington,DC
