can the city of Cambridge take these requests seriously and not just hand it off to the police as there has been nothing done about the truck situation parking in the road over the past several months. I also heard that another construction site is coming to Cambridge Park Drive for another apartment building. This will only continue and the city needs to ensure that its residents can enter and exit this street to attend work on time and not get stuck on a one lane road waiting to drive around a parked truck. I agree with Michael above that there are sometimes Police Detail at the construction site, but they never direct traffic or stop Uber/ Lyft from parking on the bike line. The Police detail only stop traffic to help a big truck back in or out of the construction site. There needs to be more accountability here as the City of Cambridge approved this construction project, but now you are hurting your residents.
Can the City of Cambridge please hold an event about the increase lack of traffic control at the Alewife/ Cambridge Park Drive area.
