Driving westbound on Washington Ave, there is no dedicated left turn lane to Memorial Heights Drive or to the Walgreens parking lot. This leads to traffic backups, accidents, and dangerous left turn situations. I have also seen this lead to people driving on the wrong side of the road. My suggestion would be to remove the median and extend the existing center turn lane that already exists on most of Washington Ave to the east. This would provide a safe place to turn from and reduce traffic and accidents.
