Description
Both Saturday and Sunday, the Lionheart allowed loud groups of people on their front and side patio areas up until 4:00 AM. It isn't enough to say your patio is closed while looking the other way when people remain out there up to 5 hours after the zoned closing time. This has been an issue with the Lionheart, and often Lark Tavern, for years. APD is called, the BID and other officials and representatives are informed, but it makes no difference. Regardless of what opinions may be about noise expectations with bars, there are city ordinances and zoning restrictions for a reason. Also, the Lionheart is trying to expand into the second floor for live music and more room for bar patrons. This is being discussed today and Nov. 15 at the Planning Board.
