I walk by this place with my dog every day and am always surprised that the city has let this go on for so long. The fact that it has only gotten worse is disturbing. There have to be some sort of health hazards and foundation issues with this property. I hope the city starts taking this seriously.
The owner of this property has been getting ticketed since September. We have also been in touch with the owner as recently as yesterday.
We expect to see a major improvement by the beginning of next week.
We will continue to watch this property.
Thank you
Not sure if anyone has noticed, but they have also removed the chimney from the middle of the house. This is asking for problems. This roof should be boarded up if they have run out of funds to make this property half decent.
Still having issues with rats because of this house. I called the health dept and the pest company will be back again tomorrow. When is this house going to be cleaned up?
In my response to you on 11/17/18 complaint, I apologized, assuming that the lot was not cleared of overgrown vegetation and debris. I was probably basing that on the original picture as well as my minds eye, having been there when it was in that condition.
It was however cleaned up, and keeping in mind that it is a still construction site, we find no violations at this time.
Our Building Inspector has stated that the removal of the chimney poses no danger and also that the original permit is still in tact.
This office is currently waiting for a set of revised plans from the architect.
Thank you
