Description
See my initial complaint Issue ID: 4286731 from 29 March.
This was CLOSED by Jennifer C. on 1 October. "Please allow 4 weeks for this work to be completed."
The deadline is past and no work is evident.
It was previously possible to reopen a closed issue. Now these are archived and can not be reopened.
The "new normal" seems to be to claim a work order will be issued and then close the issue.
This makes it look like progress is being made, but there is no accountability.
The person who initially raised the issue now has to report a NEW issue to get any kind of response.

It has been more than one year since I first reported this problem and there is no evidence that anything is being done to correct it.
On 20 January I emailed Jennifer C at Traffic a proposal for installing “CAUTION PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY” and “NO PARKING IN WALKWAY” signs along the pedestrian right of way. These are not standard traffic signs, but they can be readily purchased from RoadTrafficSigns.com
Both signs cost less than $20 each. The total outlay for Jersey City DETT would be 5 standard sign posts, 7 signs costing less than $150, and the labor to install them.
What’s the holdup?
