This street has NOT been fixed. Instead one lane has been closed for bicycles with painted lines which were painted over the terrible paving. I hope that public works does not see that as "fixing" the problem. The irony is that this road is so bad that anyone who did not have trail bike would not ride over this stretch of road.

The street again has not been fixed. It has now been over two years since I originally submitted this and the street is worse than ever, especially the stretch just east of Broadway going toward the freeway on-ramp

Thanks for reopening this issue. Hopefully the reason why the city closed it out is because they are about to start work on a paving and bike/pedestrian project on this part of Broadway as part of the Caldecott Tunnel 4th Bore traffic mitigation. It's a year later but the project I mentioned in my last comment has finally begun! It's a big project with many elements to improve safety for people walking, biking, and driving, so completion is estimated in April.

Broadway has been entirely repaved throughout this area. This issue should be closed now.

The portion between Brookside and Golden Gate was not repaved. Having biked that road just a days ago the pavement is really bad especially at Golden Gate intersection. Both driving and biking one has to avoid large swaths of broken pavement.

Is it still not fixed?

The pavement at this location was replaced in late 2016-early 2017. The project has been done for a long time, but this report was never closed out.
