I too have to drive around parents at this stop signs everyday. It's very hazardous for the children and those of us who are driving. Please advise the parents not to park at stop signs.

The city and Canton City Schools need to put their minds together and design a plan for each specific school to ELIMINATE or REDUCE traffic problems. This is the 21st century. Come on city and school leaders, LEAD or get out of the way.

Maybe take another route. That’s what I do.

Why take another route? Because of inconsiderate parents? Are they that special? Are they above the law? Don't believe they are. Time to crackdown or develop a plan for drop off and pick up.

It’s just a suggestion. Avoid it. I give those parents credit for staying with their children. There is a huge abandoned building there and I’d sit there too. Making sure my child was safe.

Another problem this city continues to neglect, abandoned buildings. Why they cannot make buildings like this a priority is unbelievable. I share your concern as well as the parents concern about safety. Too bad this city does not. In light of what happened in Cleveland to the little girl abducted and murdered on her way to school last winter, you think they would. Either oblivious or just do not care. Or they are of the mentality that incidents like that only happen in big cities. Wake up Canton officials, it even happens in cities smaller than yours.

I wrote the city councilor about that murder and the abandoned school. Since I had, the grass has been maintained and trees removed. This app definitely helps with city involvement as well.

Officer has been out in the area and spoke with several parents. We will continue to monitor the area
