Description
Kevin Fallon. First the Zoning department gaslights the City and argues in favor of Kevin Fallon getting a variance to build two houses on what is one lot. Then Kevin Fallon lets that lot grow for months , disregarding violations from the City. And the City has to maintain the lot. All at taxpayer expense! Then he rips up the grass with a machine, leaving protected trees damaged and mounds of debris for the neighbors to look at. Then he gets violations for not mowing the right of way ,which he ignores for six weeks and counting. Now he buys yet another lot and in the months following gets multiple maintenance violations. At taxpayer expense. And when he goes to Zoning for a variance to build? Will the City make him pay back the taxpayers? Will Zoning once again gaslight the City with alternate facts so that Kevin can again get a variance? Why does he get away with this??!!

Russ, I think they ask that question because even though it doesn’t make any sense and it shouldn’t matter, the city doesn’t like people to complain only about issues that affect themselves. I think also it’s just to keep people from constantly turning their neighbors in for things that might not even be violations.
Company clerk, I don’t know if you’ve ever run a large corporation but to suggest that the mayor knows the day to day activities of a lowly code officer or even the policies of the code department is a little naïve. Obviously the mayor has the final say but there is a chain of command that needs to be fiollowed before the mayor would even hear about these issues. Next time you see Rick Baker why don’t you ask him to explain to you the code departments violation policy and how long the grass has to be before they issue a violation and how long this person has to remedy the issue before the next step is taken and what is the next step…? I wouldn’t be willing to bet you Rick Baker has absolutely no idea ! ( nor does our current mayor, because as I said that’s not their job)
