Description
Bikes crowd this area and make it hard to access the stairs. Would be a really good spot for some bike racks. lots of people bike to publix.

Thank you Mayors Response Team for the followup report in the ticket system. It is appreciated.
Looks like we need to followup with CityPlace on sidewalk issues around cityplace. I guess Publix is part of the cityplace development as well?
"ISSUE HAS BEEN FORWARDED TO CITY PLACE MANAGENMENT OFFICE.
CITY PLACE IS PRIVATELY OWNED AND THE AREA IS MAINTAINED BY
THEIR MANAGEMENT OFFICE. THEY WILL NEED TO MAKE AN
ASSESMENT AS TO THE NEED OF A BIKE RACK WHERE IT IS BEING
SUGGESTED."

I spoke with Alex Hansen, City Transportation Planner (ahanson@wpb.org) a few weeks ago. Good news -- He said his efforts to have CityPlace provide more bike parking have been embraced by CityPlace. There will be a dozen or so new bike posts located in CP. There will also be a new bike rack on Rosemary near the trolley stop in front of Publix.
Great news! I'm going to close this issue, but we can always go back to it in SeeClickFix by searching closed/archived issues. Let's make sure it gets done.
