Description
A woman in our district was in need. She was sleeping in front of 659 Mission. I woke her up and recognized her. I asked where her walker was and she said that it was stolen last night. She said that she can't walk without it. I remembered seeing a really banged up yet still functional wheelchair this morning on Jessie West. I was not sure if it belonged to one of the campers there this morning at 5:30. When I went back at 9:00 am, it was still there. I called Control and asked if I could bring it to the woman in need, since it was abandoned and we would have to call 311 to have it dumped anyway. The Social Worker/Dispatcher gave me the green light to bring it to the woman in need, which I did. She climbed in it and rolled away...Guide 14
