I'm not understanding why you are unable to send a letter to the residence informing them of the complaint. Wouldn't you also have the ability to inform the Police Department of such issues and ask them to address the issue whereas you are unable to as a town.

This is the same type of difficult to investigate and enforce issue as reporting fireworks being set off, or seeing someone speeding. Unless you have it recorded, the RPD, can do little about it. Sadly neighborly behavior and common courtesy is disappearing across our town. As individuals, when we address this type of an issue to the person or persons committing the inconsiderate acts, we are are met with hostility and denial, and often gives them motivation to continue the behavior just for continued effect. When we have to enforce common courtesy via town government and or Law Enforcement, its a strong indication this problem is not going away aytime soon.

I will speak with the resident about the issue, but many times, for similar complaints, it's just someone who works an overnight shift and is setting the car alarm, which causes it to beep once or twice. Thank you

The car beeps when they turn on the automatic car starter. No violation and no further action to be taken. Thank you

Thank You for replying then why only one car beeps once around 4.30am and there other car beeps twice once at 5am and 2nd time when leavening at 515am also these are Nissan Altima's and according to the dealer it can be disabled

There is no violation of the law. I was told that this is part of an on-going neighbor dispute in general. I have no authority to make someone disable anything on their own vehicle, nor would I. My own alarm beeps when I arrive home at all hours of the early morning, but I need to ensure my vehicle is locked and the audible beep is that notification. This specific issue is closed and I will not take any further action. Thank you
