Parking enforcement is now part of Oakland DOT and does not seem to have figured out how to communicate information to OPD AbandonedAuto@oaklandca.gov. How this reactive city is run is beyond dysfunctional. Its amazing how there can be so many city employees working so hard at doing as little as possible.

OAK 311 has referred this issue to OPD ABANDONED AUTOS, PUBLIC. Please contact that department to follow-up (see "Other Helpful Links" at http://www2.oaklandnet.com/Government/o/PWA/Connect/ReportaProblem/index.htm#Links).

I posted this on 311 as well. This car is still parked here taking up a valuable spot and still accumulating tickets for over a month now! Wow. Parking enforcement is so dysfunctional.
