This is worse than ever before. The taxis (black and green) block cars from safely turning into 73rd Street from 31st Avenue in Queens.

This problem still persists. It's like a free-for-all for cabs who don't want to adhere to the laws.

This is still an issue. The green cabs violate their medallions and run as "dollar cabs." Which is convenient for riders trying to get to the subway, because the bus doesn't run frequently enough. But they are rude and inconsiderate because they wait at the corner sticking out in the intersection such that they block cars trying to turn and block the bus. They also stop in the middle of the street to pick up passengers now, blocking traffic and causing gridlock at intersections. They should pull over to pick up passengers but they don't. They use the entire 73rd Street as a cab lane.

Now the Ubers and Lyfts are in on the action.
