Because graffiti removal equipment cannot be used in cold weather, all requests received mid November - March will be removed the following spring. Even in cold weather, obscene or offensive tags will be immediately painted over until removal can be scheduled.

As always, thank you for removing all the tags. I would request that you change the standard response that graffiti removal requests made from November- March will be done in the spring. It will result in discouraging citizen reporting. Even if they are not offensive or obscene tags there are ample opportunities/weather/temperature windows during the winter months to remove or paint over many of these tags. It is imperative that all tags are removed asap. The crew or person who removes tags does a fantastic job! Please allow them to continue their good work throughout the winter. How about changing your response to; "Because of the temperature limitations of the winter months there may be a delay in graffiti removal. We will catalogue and remove all graffiti a soon as possible."
