The health department will investigate the roach complaint. Please enter another complaint for no heat and structural issues (i.e. floor) for property maintenance so Building Department can address. Reassigning this complaint to inspector for NE./ SE area. /// GED
12/18/18 - I observed evidence of roaches inside both apartment 1 and 2. There is also trash and garbage in both apartments. I explained to the tenants that treatment will not be effective until the trash and garbage is removed. I gave them specific guidelines on what to clean before treatment can be started. Also, there is trash and garbage piled around the outside of this house. /// CM
3/5/19 - I observed no change in the outside trash of this property. There was also no change in the conditions inside the house, in the upstairs apartment. Steve was again contacted. /// CM
A CS cleanup was completed on the exterior of the property on 4/16. As of 4/23/19, the exterior is still free of debris. The case for interior conditions will continue to be monitored and addressed. /// CM
5/28/19 - The outside debris has been removed. There is still no answer at the upstairs apartment, but I spoke with another tenant and they informed me that the people in that unit moved out. They are still treating for roaches and mice, but the issue is much better than it had been previously. They agreed to call back if the issue begins to get bad again. Close case. /// CM
