It is obvious the police or boro managers do not read this blog or perhaps they just don't care. Seems a fairly efficient way to see problems in your area. I guess bad guys could post meeting times and orders as no one in authority reads. Get this guys off the sidewalk !!

Using "selective enforcement" stance, the Lansdowne cops won't enforce any traffic laws they deem minor. This would increase their workload. So you can speed and ignore stop signs until you hit something or someone. Or park on the sidewalk. Or let a snowplow blade sit in the street for 30 days back in March-April. Or let yard trimmings lie in the street for a week or so. Just as long as they don't have to pry themselves from behind the wheel of their air-conditioned cars. Give the guy a ticket !!

A sidewalk is actually not your property, it is public property. Have you called the police to put in a complaint, especially since it is a public danger.

We forwarded this "Fix It " to the Lansdowne Police who have either chosen to ignore it or have been paid off to ignore it. Every night and most days he parks on the curb/sidewalk. Shameful !

This blog of "Fix This "does no good as the Boro ignores chooses to ignore. Perhaps in time we may ignore misdeamnors, then 3rd degree felonies, then 2nd degree and so on; until all we have to do is say "my bad" and all will be forgiven.

Call 911 when the truck is parked there, it is illegal. The police must see it there. When you call, tell the call taker you wish to remain anonymous.

"Neighbors complain when it is dark they sometimes walk into the side mirrors." As a person who walks by this property almost everyday, during various seasons and in the night and day, I fail to see what the big deal is. Why not just try your best not walk into the truck? It's surely big enough for anyone to see even in the dark.

As I said, and as I have been told by the chief of police, CALL 911 when the truck is parked there. They will come, they have to respond to a call. Parking on any part of the public sidewalk or curb is not allowed. Tell the person who answers the phone, you want to remain anonymous. Do it, you will see what happens. And believe me, this is not the only place this happens and he is not the only one in Lansdowne who think he can do whatever he wants. It's a new disease in town.
