While storm water service is at it have him fix his sediment barrier that they drove a bobcat through and are letting all their dirt flow into the lake. We've called and have been getting the run around like usual by the city. Hes already had to fix it once. I've got pictures from the first time they weren't using barriers, to now when they broke them with their equipment. Does the stormwater department protect our waterways like they say they do or do they protect developers?

The McFayden Lake Association might be the ones to take that up with. They will probably have more resources or at the very least, know who to go to.

Still go to the city to enforce regulations like that, that's who the association goes to. It's no different, that's why I said "since stormwater services is at it..." it's not the first time I've dealt with them or this exact same issue with the exact same guy. Especially since the lake let's the city use the lake as a watershed for all their storm drains and water run off to keep everything on this side of town from flooding and part of why the Army corps of engineers deemed it a body of water protected under the clean water act. So how about we try and keep it clean instead of a toxic dump like all the other waterways in NC.

Thank you. Heres a picture of after they bulldozed through their barrier before the last long rain we got with that winter storm. Its down in a couple places but this one is just blatant not caring for the regulations that they have already got in trouble for. For the most part I've got their entire build documented converting the waterway and will be assessing it when the lake is lowered come January. As I mentioned we are classified/protected as a 404 clean water act body of water which specifically deals with discharge of fill and dredged material.
