Description

Dear Ms Paston,

I’m not sure who to route this concern to but given your title as Deputy Director of Public Works you may be able to direct me to the correct City or County department.

I live at 1309 E Lake Sammamish Shore Lane SE.

Enclosed are photos of recent surface water originating somewhere east of Lake Sammamish Parkway and running into a stream that feeds into the lake. (The second photo shows the water and the parkway). The stream runs between our home and our neighbor’s home - Doug and Lori Birrell.

For the last several weeks the silt content of the stream has clouded the water in almost every moderate rainfall. This is a new development and does not appear to be healthy for the lake.

I would appreciate someone looking into cause and correction.

Best regards,

Bob Christensen
