Description

Utility Poll in front of 193/191 Liberty Avenue. I have called ConEd and Verizon numerous times to have dead wires removed. Neither wants to deal with it, Con Ed says the dead wires belong to Verizon and Cable and Verizon says they can't do anything because it's a Con Ed poll. They keep passing the buck, meanwhile I have this poll in front of my home that's leaning, they reinforced it but why should this be? Every winter the ice and snow weigh down the wires they get loose and nobody wants to take care of tidying it up. It's a problem that runs down my block, beginning at my home. It's unsightly and a hazard. I don't understand why it's so difficult to have these polls maintained, if there are dead wires they should be removed. Can you please give me some guidance on how I can have the utility companies come to my block and deal with this once and for all? Thank you!
