Make that Tukwila Rec Center, not Tacoma

What's wrong with them wanting the place to look nice and kept up? Is it really that costly? I think it's great that Tukwila takes care of a facility that has hundreds if not thousands of people passing through it every year and that tends to wear the floors down some. Are you sure they do it every year? These guys at See,Click & Fix can't do anything about it anyhow. Why complain to them? Go to the Mayor's office.

Every year ? Seems excessive.

Thank you (all) for reaching out regarding the refinishing of wood floors at the Tukwila Community Center.

Over 100,000 people utilize the facility each year and this annual maintenance project ensures the integrity of wood floors and safety of facility users. Patron safety is our number one concern, and when the floors aren't refinished, they may become slippery and create a hazardous condition. Additionally, if the wood floors aren't maintained properly on an annual basis they breakdown quicker which could lead to the need for a full floor replacement.
