Hi Allison, thanks for your help. I called this morning and asked for Dave Proctor. He was out, so I spoke with Peter Kerger. First he told me it was MWRA treating the water again, then he changed his story and said it was related to the construction. They promised to come run the fire hydrant, which they had promised previously. There was no follow up about whether they had done the job the first time and no improvement either way. I pressed Peter on the issue, saying that it was not a long-term solution, and he yelled at me, saying I should tell him the solution to this issue. This doesn't feel like a productive, or even respectful, way of addressing the problem. Is there another way of resolving this?

A quick update: Peter phoned back to let me know they were running the hydrant down the street. This might temporarily make the water less chlorinated, but it was the same solution offered previously and the problem has persisted.

This problem has not gone away. We've also had intermittent unannounced water outages.
