Thank you. These obstructions are on the Columbus Blvd ROW -- blocking Beach Road as a "private road" with a drop down yellow bollard only for use by Holderness, Caflisch, and Madden -- and therefore these bollards must be uninstalled/removed in a timely fashion to allow for cleaning and maintenance of this public right of way through to Avenida Messina.
I hope code enforcement was able to "find" the bollards this time. As the county continues to spend money installing bollards all around Messina, Columbus, and Beach Road, the voters of the County have chosen to reopen Beach Road and await the removal of these bollards. Please advise.
Good afternoon. For what date has the removal of these bollards been scheduled? Some progress toward compliance with the will of the electorate should be occurring already since it has been several months since the vote of the people instructed the government to proceed with reopening this area.
Harassment. Constant harassment from someone that contributes NOTHING of value. Can agree County has deficiencies – However, Said harassment WILL cause access 3, and the beach to the North to close. Entitlement behavior cost our community the best beaches - Whispering sands and the Terrace building already. Not privatizing.. as you know it’s already private. A small few just can’t enjoy the beach and happily respect the beach, other guests/beachgoers and the neighbors/Sea Life that call it home. What a shame for all the amazingly respectful beachgoers and families for generations to come that love and actually have respect. So sad but enough is enough of wasted county tax money some of us work night and day to EARN and the small few just burn it up and burning up County staffs time with their entitlement behaviors. Contribute $0.00? - expect nothing less. Small few will never just appreciate what was given and how hard other people work for our tax dollars.
Young man, it is not "harassment" to instruct the County to follow the law. The right of way was mistakenly / illegally "given away" and the voters have recovered it as a public asset. That is all. These bollards should have already been removed. Months ago!
You do no favors for this island with your bullying and constant threats to close public beach access which you do not control. You must be feeling quite emboldened with the new judge in the criminal case against you to be spewing your vitriol again. But you should be ashamed of yourself for attempting to destroy evidence and lying to the police.
Hopefully the County will see the light and start working to serve its public instead of the few deep pockets that think money is the only thing of value in this world.
As for "wasting tax dollars" there is no other person on the island who wastes more public resources than you - constantly writing and complaining etc. and now, most recently, causing our criminal justice system a huge waste of tax payer money.
Again Tammy/Elizabeth.. You've added nothing of value.. Only thing taken away was your self-proclaimed right to treat other beachgoers and owners with disrespect. You do NOT own the Property, you do not get a self-serving opinion.. Instead of demanding something that is not yours, BTW: It's for sale.. You are free to purchase it? What are you waiting for... - Use the $ collected from ReOpen beach road donations all these years? County was interested as was i in making the Beach a public park but will not do anything with RBR's constant abuse. The Big difference between you and i... You choose to defame me with such lies and I create tax dollars and jobs -Therefor hold every right to protect what we have from people like you.
