Description
For 3 nights now the lights have been on in the Valley Glen well area making it virtually impossible to sleep since my bedroom window faces it. They removed the signs so I have no idea who to call to report the issue and no one has came out to check the well

Hello and thank you for your concern. We do daily rounds at every on of our sites and recently we started turning lights on at the control rooms for safety purposes. This is for two reasons; 1) it makes it safer for our operators who have to respond during evening hours on call, and 2) deters vandalism, loitering etc. on city sites. I'm sorry for the inconvenience that this issue caused, and we will turn the lights off for normal operations, providing we don't have any problems. We may form time to time have to leave the lights on while driving from site to site during emergency operations at night, but we will do our best to turn them off when we are done for the evening. If you have any other issues, please feel free to contact the city's water dept for issues regarding Valley Glen well site.
Sincerely,
Water Operations Supervisor
