Are they allowed to run a generator in the street? Reading up on the noise ordinance, any noise making machine has running limits per hour. And Rob, betterment of a neighborhood is not determined by a sacrifice of health issues. Pull the permit again and run decibel checks, please.

I asked for a noise check. If they are working outside the bounds of a healthy environment set forth by a noise ordinance, this is not an issue about what I worry about in life, it’s a health issue for the neighborhood. Do you not respect law and order? Are you some how above this, because you have a larger vision of the whole? If you have any say in inquiring into this issue, then please look into it, otherwise your sentiments are wasted here where the noise is a real nuisance.

I voted that the noise levels should be investigated if at all possible. Chronic industrial noise can reduce home values and interferes with people's quiet enjoyment of property, which is a lawful right.

If there is a disturbance of the peace, please call the Police Department directly so that they may dispatch a cruiser to immediately address the issue (978)-283-1212. This has also been assigned to the Building Department to possibly investigate the noise levels.
