There is a demo and construction going on at 3 Paulmier Place in Jersey City downtown. It's Saturday 4PM and chipping guns are working. We have not seen any permits, this is the second weekend they're working. This townhouse was recently sold, we think the new owner is doing construction without appropriate building permits. Could you send one of your inspectors to that location and see if they have permits, including weekend work permit. Is it even legal for them to work on weekends if there is no emergency? Please don't believe if they tell you that they're doing minor work, the noise is really bad, there's demo going on for second week. Thank you.
